On an even happier note: I will stop working at the end of next week! I'm really excited to enjoy Alec full-time and do so many more things for myself and my family. It won't be easy...but it will be worth it. Steve and I knew this would have to happen sometime soon and we decided it was time. Our families have been so helpful for the past year taking care of Alec. We really appreciate the many hours they've spent watching him. I really am looking forward to stop working...it will be such a relief.
Well, since life's been kind of crazy lately I forgot to take many pictures in the last couple months, so here are a few....Some pics were taken by our home teacher who's a professional photographer...others are of Alec with a purple nose after falling in the bathroom and hitting his nose against the tub...it was so sad, bloody and painful (and I almost fainted!).
By the way, Alec took his first steps on New Year's Eve, and now no one can stop that little man...no wonder why I feel so tired now.

SERIOUSLY! We were all like, what the heck! They sold it! They're gone! How did this happen right under our noses!?
I'm SOOOOOOO bummed you guys are out of here, but SOOOOOOO happy that you get to quit in a week, holy cow I can't even imagine how excited you are!
Gabi, congrats on the call yesterday! So excited for April for you guys! It will be a challenge with all of the moves, but it will be so worth it. Plus, you get to stay home with darling Alec. He's so beautiful! I can't believe how much he's changed in the past couple of months. And I LOVE your Christmas card pic. Your home teacher did a great job, but it also helps that you guys have a beautiful family.
